炎のアーティスト Blazing Artist四宮彰吾 Shogo Shimiya
闘剣、居合、禅刀道を無双館にて鍛錬し、演武会や過酷な試合により剣士としての気魄と闘気を修得する。
剣の闘いで培われ研ぎ澄まされた洞察力と観察眼、更には美の新境地を睨む審美眼を以て創作活動に挑んでいる。
近年、師より武号「刃刃（じんば）」を授かり、新流派「撃刀（げきとう）」を創始するに至る。
代表作に「BLAZING」シリーズがあり、当初から「別れ花」や「供物」を被写体にしていたが、最近は「お焚き上げ」からインスピレーションを得て「魂が宿っているもの」が炎により天へ昇華する情景を映し切る。
もう一つのシリーズに、日本人が備えている美意識である「ぼけ = bokeh」の概念を拡張させた「MYSTERIOUS」がある。
独自の視点が捉える「ゆらぎ = divine lights and deep shadows dancing in the darkness」を投射したエモーショナルな作風である。

I trained in Touken(sword fighting), Iai, and Zentoudou at the Musoukan, mastering the iron willpower and the fighting spirit as a swordsman through martial arts demonstrations and tough matches.
I am challenging creative activities with insights and observation eye cultivated through sword fights besides the aesthetic sense that glares at the new frontiers of beauty.
In recent years, I have received the martial name “Jinba” from my master, and achieved the creation of a new school called “Gekitou.”
My representative works is the "BLAZING" series, which from the beginning used "farewell flowers" and "offerings" as subjects, but recently I have been inspired by "Otakiage," and I have photographed "things with souls" in flames. This perfectly reflects the scene of ascending to the heavens.
Another series is "MYSTERIOUS," which expands on the concept of "bokeh," which is a Japanese aesthetic sense.
The emotional style of my work projects "fluctuation = divine lights and deep shadows dancing in the darkness" captured from my unique perspective.
Otakiage = It is a ritual performed to let go of cherished items, such as items related to Shinto Buddhism, belongings left by a deceased person, or favorite items that are no longer needed. The items are purified and offered as a memorial service through prayers and sutra readings, and then set alight over a fire.

Formé aux arts du combat à l’épée Tôken, Iai et Zentôdô à l’école Musôkan, il s’est forgé au fil de démonstrations et de combats acharnés une âme et un esprit de guerrier.
C’est avec un regard et une perspicacité dont l’acuité a été aiguisée par la maîtrise de l’épée, et avec une vision esthétique tournée vers les nouvelles frontières de la beauté qu’il se plonge dans la pratique de ses activités créatrices.
Il y a quelques années, il a reçu de son maître le titre de Jinba, suite à quoi il a créé une nouvelle école, le « Gekitô ».
L’une de ses œuvres phares est la série « BLAZING » (= embrasement). Au début, il a choisi pour sujet des bouquets de funérailles (« wakarebana ») ou des offrandes mortuaires (« kumotsu »), puis plus récemment, il s’est inspiré des feux sacrés (« otakiage ») et a commencé à mettre en scène la sublimation vers les cieux de « sujets dotés d’une âme » par les flammes.
Dans une autre de ses séries, intitulée « MYSTERIOUS » (= mystérieux), il développe le concept du « bokeh = flou », cher au sens esthétique des Japonais.
C’est une œuvre saisissante qui met en scène le « vacillement = lumières divines et ombres profondes dansant dans l’obscurité » imprimé dans une perspective unique.
